Appetizer Ring
December 14, 2011 in Featured, Uncategorized by Kendall Jones
The holiday season is full of parties and entertaining. Between shopping, wrapping and gifting, most of us don’t have hours to spend preparing for a party. I love this appetizer, as it can be made ahead of time and guests love it! It’s an easy recipe to remember, which is great because you’re guaranteed to get requests for it!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups mayonnaise
- 2 cups chopped pecans
- 2 bundles green onions, chopped
- 1 regular-sized jar of strawberry preserves
Combine first 4 ingredients in a bowl and spread into bottom of a well-greased bundt pan. Refrigerate overnight (covered). When ready to serve, run a spatula around the edges and invert on a serving plate. It should come out in a nice ring pretty easily! Spread the preserves on the top and put the rest in the center of the ring. Serve with crackers.
