Scarves aren’t just for warmth anymore! When tied just right, scarves can add just the right amount of attitude to any outfit. No matter your style, adding a scarf lets people know that you are serious about style. The Glam Chicks have taken six ultra-stylish scarves and — with a little twisting, looping and knotting — have created some easy, innovative looks that will be worthy of a second glance this season.
– Tie and knot an oversized square silk scarf end to end. Throw over your shoulder to wear as a stylish purse with a carefree vibe.
– Simply twist and loop any scarf to create a trendy, pulled-together look. With so many ways to knot a scarf, experiment to see which look works best for you.
– Belt it! Fold and tuck an extra-long textured scarf underneath your favorite belt to create a classic look. This happens to be the Glam Chicks’ fave look for 2011-2012!
– As a belt! What a great alternative to the traditional belt. We took this great-looking equestrian-style scarf from J.C. Penney, paired it with our favorite jeans, and totally transformed this look. 
– Make a bold fashion statement and turn your scarf into a headband – the perfect accessory if you want to go boho.
– Wear as a top! This works best with a fringed, oversized square scarf. Knot it around your neck and at your lower back, drape in the front, and, voila, you have an oh-so stylish top. We recommend wearing this look over a simple, solid-colored turtleneck.
– For an effortless and simple look that goes great with any outfit, just twist around and tuck! There’s no secret to this one, and it’s great for that last-minuteaccessory.

The Glam Chicks are exactly what their name implies, glamorous in every sense of the word! Janis and Monica are an unstoppable team of fashionistas who have joined forces to help keep grandmas fabulous and fashionable! Janis has been an event planner for 19 years and a model for Macy’s for even longer! With grandkid’s Sadie and Ben, both under 6, Janis always looks runway perfect even after chasing two little ones! Monica is a mom of two teenage girls and has worked in Special Events and Public Relations for a large national retailer for over 20 years. She has also worked as a fashion editor and stylist for a national fashion magazine and continues to work as a wardrobe and fashion consultant. Monica and Janis have worked together for about 15 years.
